Last week, finally the hardware arrived. A fanless barebone system that is going to become our music server, music player and eventually also a DVD and movie player. Completed with some hardware that was used in a desktop machine before, we now have this setup:

EPIA ML8000 (C3 800MHz CPU)
512MB RAM
3.5″ IDE hard disk drive 320GB
DVD/CDRW [...]

The bus is prepared and as soon as I get away from the office this afternoon, we will leave Berlin and should hit the Atlantic Ocean somewhen next week. Will be back in about two weeks…

The GIMP corner at the 22nd Chaos Communication Congress is located in the art & beauty area. This is probably the best place we could possibly get. Right next to the sound and visuals and a fresh bottle of Club-Mate is always just a few meters away.

Celebrating 10 years of GIMP, we will have a few drinks next Wednesday, the 30th of November, in the rooms of the CCC Berlin. There’s even another 10th birthday to celebrate at the very same occasion.
