A first patch has landed in CVS. Thanks to Akkana we have finally started to do some changes to the GIMP menus that have been discussed for quite a while already. As a first step the Script-Fu and Python scripts have been merged into the Filters menu:

Looks like Abiword and Gnumeric have been ported to the Nokia 770. Let’s hope that the device that I won at GUADEC will arrive soon so that we can start porting GIMP.

I went to GUADEC with low expectations and I was proven wrong. It was one of the best GUADECs ever, Stuttgart was less ugly and boring than what I had been told and it was great to meet all the GNOME and some GIMP people. Thanks to everyone who has made this year’s conference possible.
